  BF-03.jpg2.Applicable standards BF-03C kinematic viscosity tester is designed and manufactured as per GB/T 265. it can be used to determine the kinematic viscosity of the petroleum products accurately(for Newtonian flow). The unit of the determined kinematic viscosity is mm²/s.This test method specifies a procedure for the determination of the kinematic viscosity of liquid petroleum products by measuring the time for a volume of liquid to flow under gravity through a calibrated capillary viscometer.
3.Apparatus PrincipleThe time is measured for a fixed volume of liquid to flow under gravity through the capillary of a calibrated viscometer under areproducible driving head and at a closely controlled and known temperature. The kinematic viscosity is the product of the measured flow time and the calibration constant of the viscometer. 4.Structural characteristicsBF-03C consists of the electronic control system, the bath, the agitation motor, the holder for viscometers and etc.The instrument uses the digital temperature controller to control the temperature. The digital temperature controller can display the setting temperature and the actual temperature intuitively, so that it's easy to set and correct the temperatures. The bath of the instrument is glassy transparent, which is convenient for operator to observe the sample from all directions.There are two viscometer holders in the instrument. Testing sample and keeping the temperature of others can be done in the meanwhile. We have a clever design for viscometer’s holder which is easy to fix the viscometer vertically by adjusting 3 positioning screws in the holder.
